Yesterday was the day i had been working for, for the last 4 months. I had been on a big kick in terms of making my food cleaner- healthier, more organised and prepared and slightly more restricted. Having come from a bikini body building background not having competed in nearly years, I have been living the balanced lifestyle!
However this year I wanted a new challenge and task and goal to work towards! The environment and mantra of Fit Bikini Model Extravaganza was certainly appealing. They are a supportive and friendly environment for women with a healthy, fit lifestyle to celebrate their fitness achievements. Unlike bodybuilding or federation comps, it appealed to me by being a friendly, encouraging and glamorous comp without strict guidelines. The women showcased their talents and promote health and balance in all aspects of life.
I can tell you it was everything and more.Wow what a day and in particular experience yesterday with. I’m so touched that I left with one of the places to the national finals by winning Miss Girlfriend What a day of fun, meeting new beautiful ladies who although I “competed” against it was the most supporting and friendly vibes I’ve ever seen at a show! I am so happy with my package apart from my stage nerves from going first!
I wanted to aim on toning up, getting fitter, getting healthier and putting myself in the best spot for my overseas travels and wanted a goal to work towards to achieve this :) I did this is so much more! Met so many ladies! Had a blast doing photo shoots, walked away as Miss Girlfriend! Which means I made the national finals! It felt so good to walk on stage being confident and proud once again and honestly just have fun even though my nerves got the better of me!
