BLOG Week 1- Welcome to my World!

Hi there,

So here it is my website, linking my business and personal life together. Super long time coming you could say. So currently its Sunday afternoon- and sunny, the weather has been crazy with the rain the last days so its nice! Its a perfect chilled afternoon to have been home working on everything finally.

Funny story as to why we are here... well to a "blog" that is. Friday night just gone - Facebook being awesome with it's algorithms got me good! Saw a post - 30dayblogchallenge- perfect watched the video, followed the links the advice seemed legit and exactly what I required so then next step, I signed up and registered. Whoops- my "one year subscription" that was described as monthly pricing was automatically direct debited from my account, mind you more then what they stated, I then could not log on with said email and account details and I found myself feeling like an idiot for being so stupid!

Jumped online this morning as I woke and started speaking to a robot bot- got there eventually and I have now been refunded half of what I was charged...so don't ever do that on a Whim on a Friday night lol.

Anyway now that I have got that off my chest it brings me to where we are at now. This page here and now.

I have so much I want to show and share and do it real, and by being genuine. Those of you who know me- know I love the Gram (Instagram) I have always posted on Facebook and snap chat too- maybe more then others. But I enjoy it, and its my way of being creative, plus i think of it as a diary and means to document thoughts, memories, experiences and me. I have thought about doing a Youtube Channel- but i just don't watch Vlogs myself so i don't think doing them is a good idea. Adam (my partner) also said to me a BLOG is kind of like wanting to use a horse and carriage when everyone has a car. Another thought for me to consider, to be fair. So anyway this is my choice and my outlet and if you are reading this, THANK YOU!!

I hope to as I said about link a few aspects of my life together- my business being a Brisbane Based Personal Trainer, my own life- training, fitness, social, working my second job, aspirations and goals, and some of my every day aspects in regards to beauty, budgeting, organisation, travel aspirations and challenges that I face. I am also re-entering the competitive scene and competing in a show/pageant based on Women's health, fitness, wellness, confidence and fun and I super excited and pumped for this experience in the next 6 months. More on all this to come, as I hope to highlight and keep it real for all of you!

A run down on my chilled weekend in Brisbane involved- this week sitting in my room on Friday night keeping busy with time to myself - while my partner and his mates drank til the early hours of the morning. I am currently not drinking in Preparation for my adjustments for my show. Such a good feeling especially since I have been drinking frequently since November like the rest of us I am sure. I also along with signing up for the "30dayblogchallenge" (Lol) signed up to some other helpful mailing lists and tools to help me not feel so much like a dummie. Ha that is probably the only thing I didn't sign up for- Dummies guide to Blogging hahaha. Saturday morning went and did a reformer Pilates class which I haven't done for a while- again super good and fun. I did 5 weight sessions in the gym this week so the addition of the Pilates class felt great- made it harder with the spring resistance and using heavy weights! Give it a go if you have never tried before a great way to add another element to your training!

Saturday a cheeky game of bowling with mates, and I somehow won- if you had seen the game and my quality of bowling you will understand why this is a shock hahah.

And now to today- Sunday, sleep in! Yes check! And then a Sunday sess at the gym hitting Shoulders with Adam. This is a big accomplishment as I have been nagging him for ages to be more dedicated and interested in hitting the gym- and especially together so this was nice. Groceries also done with a healthy dinner planned to enjoy together also.

This afternoon I met a friend at a local Vegan Festival in West End.( No I am not vegan, but it amazes me the variety of food that is available). Finishing up my Sunday, working from home on this, emails, contacting clients and confirming appointments and my schedule for a busy week!

Some side hopes for this Blog is to yes partner and network further with brands, products, services and experiences who align with my personality, and brand so I will always be open to collaborations if I am fortunate enough.

Wow long first entry. And as I am a rookie have no idea if this is too log or not, but it feels good anyway so I don't care!

Thanks if you read through!

Livelovelift!

Tara xx
